Fall has arrived in Warrenton Lakes, and this month's neighborhood newsletter has a full slate of things to do without leaving Fauquier County.

Festivals and Pumpkin Patches

Old Town Warrenton's 47th annual Fall Festival fills Main Street on October 3 with artisans, live music, and festival food. A short drive toward the Blue Ridge, Sky Meadows State Park's Fall Farm Days run every weekend through October 25, with a pumpkin patch, a corn maze, and tours of the park's historic 1840s Mount Bleak farmhouse.

Steeplechase Season at Great Meadow

The International Gold Cup Race Meet returns to Great Meadow on October 24. This Fauquier County fall tradition is worth a tailgate and an afternoon outdoors.

Farmers Market and After Hours, Before They Wrap Up

The Warrenton Farmers Market runs Saturday mornings through November 22, and Old Town After Hours wraps its Friday evening series on October 16. Both are worth catching before the season winds down.
